Always growing, always learning.

Learning is a lifelong journey.  Everyday represents an opportunity to learn something new, and to grow as a person. However, our point of view greatly determines how we perceive learning opportunities.

What type of learner are you? Do you believe that you can grow your skills/knowledge?  Next time you find yourself feeling frustrated or challenged in school consider the following:

You will find that changing your perspective will make a big difference in your learning.

Remembrance Day

Our office was closed Wednesday because it was Remembrance Day. Some of us attended Remembrance Day ceremonies in our communities, some spent time with family, others were cutting wood. We had the freedom to choose.

Improving your level of education is one way of increasing the number of opportunities available. Many students that I talk to express that this is the reason they are taking classes at edcentre.ca.

One of the strong indicators of success is good communication with your teacher. Contact us if you are just getting started. Contact us if you are stuck and don't know what to do. Contact us if things are going well and you have ideas to make the class better. Please contact us!

It's TRUE! It's NEW!
As I write this the web site magicians are working feverishly to get the new edcentre.ca web site functional and public. Many thanks and kudos to Chris and Krista de Feijter for making this happen. A lot of time has been devoted by these two wonderful people to working on the new site over the Christmas break and in the new year.  If you want a peek at the new site,  check it out at this link: http://masinahikana.ca/

What's next that's new? Watch for the completion draws at the end of the month! If you have completed a course, your name will be in the draw box for a new tablet! We will try to get participants into a web conferernce room to make the draw and celebrate the half way mark for this school year.
